با این کار میتوانستیم خطای مشخص شده در تصویر زیر را دور بزنیم:

CPU_SUPPORT_ERROR: The CPU in this host is not supported by ESXi 8.0.0

اما متاسفانه این روش از ورژن ESXi 8.0U2 به بعد کار نخواهد کرد. دلیل آن نیز نیاز به ثبات/رجیستر XSAVE در CPU سرور می‌باشد که سرورهای قدیمی با CPU های قدیمی مانند نسل Westmere آن را پشتیبانی نمیکنند. به همین دلیل این نسخه پایان امکان استفاده از سرورهای قدیمی با راهکار فوق خواهد بود و نهایتا تا ورژن ESXi 8.0 Update 1c میتوانید روی سرورهای قدیمی استفاده نمایید.

نصب مجدد RunTime Net Framework از فایل setup offline امکان پذیر نبود و خطا میداد که اخرین ورژن .Net نصب هستش. مراحل زیر جهت رفع این مشکل کمک کرد:

How To Reinstall .NET Manually

1 – Get Windows Server Installation Media

If you don’t already have an .ISO (or DVD) available, you can download one for free from the Windows Evaluation Center HERE (click WINDOWS SERVER along the top menu bar then select your version).

2 – Mount the Windows Server .ISO or insert the DVD
3 – Command Line Uninstall .NET and Reinstall

Note: If you see an error, just keep going. It is likely that you just don’t the feature in question

Open a PowerShell as an Admin and run each of these commands one by one adjusting the D:\SOURCES path to whatever your ISO is mounted as:

dism /online /disable-feature /featurename:Netfx4 /norestart

dism /online /enable-feature /featureName:Netfx4 /source:wim:D:\sources\Install.wim:4 /limitaccess /norestart /all

dism
/online /enable-feature /featureName:MicrosoftWindowsPowerShell

4 – Reboot the server

It is really a tough task to get downtime for your virtuali machines just for your ILO configurations like Reset ILO configuration, Reconfigure ILO IP address and reset ILO administrative password.

Now ILO configuration of ESXi host can easily be done without need of host restart using HP ESXi utilities.
HP ESXi Utilities Offline bundle for VMware ESXi 5 will be available as part of HP customized ESXi installer image but if it is not a HP customized ESXi image then you may need to download and install  HP ESXi Utilities Offline bundle for VMware ESXi.

Export the ILO configuration of your ESXi host into file

Browse to /opt/hp/tools and execute the below command to export the ILO configuration into text file.

/opt/hp/tools # ./hponcfg -w /tmp/ilo-conf.txt

Reset the ILO from ESXi host

Browse to /opt/hp/tools and execute the below command to reset the HP ILO configuration.

./hponcfg -r 

Reset the ILO administrator password from ESXi host

First to reset password there need to create a XML file with below information. File can be created using vi tool. If there are difficutlies, simple use notepad and upload file on esxi server using winscp tool.

To reset password run command ./hponcfg -f ./resetpw.xml. In the end it shows Script succeeded.

Configuring IP address for HP ILO from ESXi host

Using this utility it is also possible to change IP and DNS information, to use the same copy below text to xml file, it is a great way to automate bulk ILO configuration operation remotely.

خوب VMware هم مثل Cisco یکسری گرایش ها داره و هر گرایش هم 4 سطح مختلف داره شامل:
1. Accosiated که بهش میگه VCA

برای انجام کاری نیاز به آپدیت کردن Firmware HP Smart Array P410i سرور HP DL380 G6 داشتم. عملیات آپدیت رو از طریق خوده ESXi و SSH انجام دادم و برای اینکه سرور رو ریستارت نکنم و نیاز به حضور فیزیکی برای چک کردن اینکه عملیات آپدیت به ورژن مورد نظر به درستی انجام شده این دستورات استفاده کردم. به طور دقیق بگم از ssacli ctrl all show detail  روی ESXi 6.0u3 HPE استفاده کردم. امیدوارم براتون مفید باشه.

بهترین کار برای زمانی که یک شخص با موبایلتان تماس میگیرد و شما نمی خواهید پاسخ دهید چیست؟ میذارید گوشیتون همینطوری زنگ بخوره و قطع بشه بره رو پیغام گیر؟ آیا صدای زنگ گوشیتون رو سایلنت میکنید که تماس گیرنده فکر بکنه هنوز گوشیتون داره زنگ میخوره؟ یا “رد تماس” میکنید و مستقیم میفرستینش به پیغامگیرتون؟ هر کدوم از این واکنش ها معنی های مختلفی داره…

ببخشید الان نمیتونم گوشی رو جواب بدم

من خودم شخصا به رد کردن (قطع) تماس اعتقاد دارم و با اینکه کلمه “رد” کردن شاید از نظره مفهموی سنگین باشه اما اونو کاره درستی میدونم. کل منظور این کار یعنی من الان نمیتونم حرف بزنم ، و با رجکت کردن به تماس گیرنده اینو میگم. خب ممکنه تو یه جلسه باشم یا با خانواده ام دارم شام میخورم. شاید تماس گیرنده رو خسته کننده میدونم و نمیخوام حرف بزنم. شاید نیاز دارم از اینترنت گوشیم استفاده کنم و با تماس شما اینترنتم قطع میشه….

اگر بتونم یک مسیج (SMS) برای شفاف سازی میفرستم. اما اگر قطع بکنم و مسیج هم ندم ، حتما دلیلی داره و وظیفه ما نیستش که مسیج بدیم و بگیم. کل مفهموم سریع قطع کردن یه تماس اینه : “ببخشید ، الان نمیتونم حرف بزنم.” که در وقتِ همه صرفه جویی میشه…

گزینه های دیگه چیه؟ اگه کاری نکنید و بذارید گوشیتون همینطوری هی زنگ بخوره ، تماس گیرنده فکر میکنه میتونید صحبت کنید اما صدای زنگ یا ویبره گوشی رو نشنیدین! پس کاملا منطقیه که دوباره زنگ بزنه. حالا فرض کنید خواب هستید گوشی زنگ میخوره و صدای زنگ رو موقتا قطع میکنید و پاسخش رو نمی دهید… طرف مجدد زنگ میزنه و خوابه شیرینتون رو خراب میکنه ! حالا میگید تماس گیرنده از کجا بدونه …. ، خب این یه دلیل دیگه است که من به رد کردن تماس اعتقاد دارم.

جدول داستانِ رد تماس

دومین تماس مجدد محدوده گیج کنندگیست، چون عامل دیگه ای در تماس ما دخیل هستش و چیزها رو پیچیده میکنه: خوده تکنولوژی!. شبکه های تلفن همراه و آنتن موبایل ممکنه ضعیف بشه و بعضی وقتا تماس قبل از وصل شدن قطع بشه ، یا اینکه اون طرفه خط اصلا گوشی زنگ نخوره. توی همچین شرایطی تماس گیرنده طبق تصمیم خودش میتونه دوباره زنگ بزنه یا نزنه. اگه تماس رو مخاطب قطع کرد نباید بد برداشت بشه. منظور اینه که : “بله ، واقعا دستم بنده ببخشید”. و تماس گیرنده میتونه مسیج بده “میتونی صحبت کنی؟”….

نوع دیگه “قطع کردن بی اعصاب” هستش ، که این مفهوم رو به صراحت میرسونه اصلا الان نمیتونم صحبت کنم. برای اینکار تماس رو جواب میدین و فورا بدون گفتن کلمه ای قطع میکنید. اینطوری دیگه حتی تماس گیرنده به پیام گیر صوتی منتقل نمیشه. تماس گیرنده تو همچین شرایطی فقط حق ارسال sms رو داره و نباید توقع داشته باشه سریع جوابش رو بدین. در غیر این صورت “قطع کردن اتمی” چیزه عجیبی نیست ! که گوشی رو کلا خاموش میکنه.

شاید تماس گیرنده واقعا برای کاری فوق العاده ضروری و فوری داره تماس میگیره و به دلایلی نمیتونه بهتون مسیج بده ” واجبه باید حرف بزنیم… لطفا جواب بده”. در این حالت بعد از سه تماس باید حتما جواب داد. تماس سوم یعنی فوری و اورژانسی هستش. و یک نتیجه گیری میشه کرد ، که اسمش رو میشه گذاشت قانونِ “پسری که اشک گرگ رو درآورد!”. بی تردید خیلی زشته که سه بار پشت هم زنگ زد مگر اینکه یه جا آتیش گرفته باشه!

اطرافه من آدم های بی صبر و حوصله زیادی هستش که باید این چیزا رو بدونند. دوستشون دارم ، اما همیشه وقته مناسبی برای گفتگو نیستش. امیدوارم این کمکی بکنه. در آخر لطفا نظرات خودتون رو در رابطه با اینکه آیا ردکردن تماس بی ادبی به تماس گیرنده است یا خیر به همراه دلیل خود و با توجه به گفته های این مقاله بنویسید.
